Grape is the solid purple version of the Nintendo Game Boy Color. It is one of the standard CGB-001 colourways and should not be confused with Atomic Purple, which uses a translucent shell. Grape retains an opaque purple casing while sharing the same internal hardware as the rest of the standard range. It features Nintendo's colour TFT screen, uses two AA batteries and plays both Game Boy Color software and most cartridges originally released for the earlier Game Boy.
