Released in 2008, the PSP 3000 was Sony's third major PlayStation Portable revision. It retained the slim UMD-based design of the PSP-2000 while introducing an improved 4.3-inch display with higher contrast and more vivid colour reproduction, together with a built-in microphone. The PSP-3000 supports PSP games and UMD Video, Memory Stick PRO Duo media, Wi-Fi, USB connectivity and analogue video output.
