Onyx is the dark metallic standard colour added to the Game Boy Advance SP AGS-001 range in 2003. Nintendo described the casing as Onyx, or black, and it uses the original switchable front-lit AGS-001 display. It should not be confused with Graphite, a later standard colour associated with the back-lit AGS-101.
